There is no particular order to follow and we encourage parents to select activities across the nine broad areas of learning. Development and learning occurs at the same time across all these areas. We also encourage parents to adapt activities as needed, and to follow their child’s lead in the activity.

The cards may be used by professionals as well- as an entire set, a section at a time or a card at a time. You may see copies of the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards or Fun Family Activity Cards at your local child care center, pediatricians office, WIC, or library to name a few and we encourage you to share this important resources with others you may know.
